Temporary (19-21.10.2016) change in margin for some stock CFDs
Dear clients,Due to the expected corporate events in several US companies in period of October 19-21, 2016 the minimum margin requirement is temporarily increased from 2.5% to 20% (i.e. maximum leverage is reduced from 1:40 to 1:5) for CFDs on these stocks.
In this regard, we recommend that you cut the volume of previously opened and future positions to the admissible level of your deposit or that you deposit more funds to your account.
The table below shows the period of increased marginal requirements in "Margin change date" and "Period of event ending date" columns. Moreover, the event may take place before the Period of event ending date, so margin may be reduced to 2.5% before the stipulated date.
