European Unemployment and Inflation Rates - 30.11.2012

The Eurozone seasonally-adjusted unemployment rate turned out at 11.7% in October 2012, which is more than 11.6% in September. As for the The EU unemployment rate, it was at 10.7% in October 2012, in comparison to 10.6% in September. Both areas have rates increased from October 2011, being at 10.4% and 9.9% correspondingly, according to the Eurostat report.
The highest unemployment rates were fixed for Spain (26.2%) and Greece (25.4% in August 2012). The lowest – for Netherlands (5.5%), Germany (5.4%) Luxembourg (5.1%) and Austria (4.3%). The number of unemployed persons younger than 25 in EU was at 5.678 (MIO) in October 2012 the part of those estimated in 3.609 million ppl. were registered in Eurozone.
According to Eurostat flash estimate, the yearly inflation rate in Eurozone is expected to be 2.2% in November 2012, less than 2.5% in October.
