Boeing Technical Analysis

The technical analysis of the Boeing stock price chart on daily timeframe shows #S-BA,D1 is retracing toward the 200-period moving average MA(200) after hitting 13-month four weeks ago. We believe the bearish momentum will continue after the price breaches below the lower boundary of Donchian channel at 192.3. This level can be used as an entry point for placing a pending order to sell. The stop loss can be placed above the fractal high indicator at 213.4. After placing the order, the stop loss is to be moved every day to the next fractal high, following Parabolic signals. Thus, we are changing the expected profit/loss ratio to the breakeven point. If the price meets the stop loss level (213.4) without reaching the order (192.3), we recommend cancelling the order: the market has undergone internal changes which were not taken into account.

Fundamental Analysis of Stocks - Boeing

Boeing won a Saudi Arabia order for 78 Dreamliners. Will the Boeing stock price rebound resume?

On Tuesday, Boeing announced orders for 78 widebody Boeing 787s. Boeing called the $37 billion sale its fifth-largest commercial order by value. The order followed a deal with United Airlines in December for 100 Dreamliners and a purchase by Air India that included 20 787s. Expectations of higher production are bullish for a company stock. However, the Boeing stock closed lower on the day despite the Saudi Arabia Dreamliners order news. Analysts point out that the Dreamliner line faces multiple strains on its supply chain - not unique to the US aerospace giant - such as forgings and castings for engines.
