Top daily news

Global equity indexes are pointing mostly up currently after Wall Street ended mixed on Friday. Apple shares gained 0.80% outperforming market while the US International Trade Commission on Thursday issued a limited exclusion order on certain Apple Watches, banning their import to the US, as it found Apple had violated patents held by medical-technology company Masimo over measuring blood-oxygen levels, Nvidia shares added 0.43% on Friday.

Forex news

The Dollar weakening is intact currently. The live dollar index data show the ICE US Dollar index, a measure of the dollar’s strength against a basket of six rival currencies, ended 0.1 % lower on Friday.

EUR/USD reversed its retreating while GBP/USD reversed its advancing on Friday. Both euro and Pound are lower against the Dollar currently. USD/JPY reversed its advancing on Friday and AUD/USD continued its climbing with both the yen and the Australian dollar higher against the Greenback currently.

Stock Market news

US stocks indexes futures are up currently after closing mixed on Friday. The three main US stock benchmarks recorded daily returns in the range from -1.1% to 0.4% on Friday as US Bureau of Economic Analysis reported bigger than expected core personal consumer expenditure index increase in September while real household disposable income fell for a fourth month in a row.

European stock indexes futures are higher currently after closing lower on Friday led by healthcare stocks. Asian stock indexes futures are mostly up today with Hong Kong’s Hang Seng index defying the regional trend while Australia reported an unexpected jump in retail sales.

Commodity Market news

Brent is edging lower currently. Oil prices rose over $2 on Friday after the US military struck Iranian targets in Syria. The US oil benchmark West Texas Intermediate (WTI) gained 2.8% but is lower currently. Brent rose 2.9% to $90.48 a barrel on Friday.

Gold Market News

Gold prices are retracing down currently . Prices extended gains on Friday: spot gold added 1.1% to $2006.00 an ounce.
